Hey guys, what's up? So I'm reading this awesome book that I did I didn't even existed. Anyhow the book is incredible, and should be read by anyone who wants to read an awesome book about The Grateful dead, then this is the book for you. Anyhow the name and author of the book is: Skelton Key " A Dictionary for Deadheads. It is written by David Shenk, and Steve Silberman.
Anyhow, I have done a few threads on here about : When you their first space was. You guys all came up with awesome theories and I thoroughly read each post and really enjoyed reading it.
So anyhow, I got a hold of this book, and here is what is written about Space. I remember correctly one of you guys even mentioned this -as your Theory. Basically this book (which, seems really factual by the way), says that Space is Feedback under a different name. The book tells a short story about how the Grateful a Dead used to love playing this smog, and how they almost got giddy over it. It also talks about how they literally used to run across the stage to their amp to try to get as much as Feedback as possible.
Anyhow I just thought those of you who had been following the original post would get a kick out of it.
Peace And b Wild
Mike
