Hey Y'all......

Just recently joined the forum. Some months back, I was elated to discover (better late than never!) that Cosmic week (4-71, Filmore east) had been commercially released......My favorite show (4/28) my favorite lovelight (4/26) & favorite Midnite Hour (4/29).

Got the disks off of EBAY & of course was elated!javascript:emoticon('Laughing') I assumed the "Hard to Handle" prior to the 4/28 epic (Star->Stepan->NFA->GDRFB->NFA) was also from 4/28......I think the best hard to handle ever!!!...(4/28)

To My dismay, the Hard to Handle prior to the 4/28 Jam must be from another nite...although good (of course!)...it pales to 4/28 rendition.

So my quest continues. I have a version on cassette, but would love to get a digital SBD version from the 4/28 nite.

Can anyone oblige?...I have much to share as a reciprocating favor!javascript:emoticon('Very Happy')

Regards,
Howard (DaRehabber@aol.com

Not really a song I care for but 8/6/71 seems to get lots of love.

Whichever one is on Ladies and Gentlemen is smokin (I always thought it was 4/28) , as is 8/6/71, 8/14/71 and 8/26/71

Hi Howard and welcome Very Happy

In answer to your question, yes I can. It's easy peasy.
Just sign up for the 1971 vine and you will get a soundboard of that very show:

Not only that, but you will get the greatest 'Hard To Handle' ever recorded (better than 28/04/1971) on the Charlie Miller soundboard of 06/08/1971.

If you are not sure what signing up for a vine entails, drop me a PM.

Sigh Rolling Eyes
Not content with wrecking a perfectly good language, etc etc ....
Very Happy

Sorry Mr. K the best I can do is the international standard of YYYYMMDD
I do have some standards you know.
Not many, I grant you, after all I am posting here Twisted Evil

OK Darehabber, what I mean is -
1971/04/28
and
1971/08/06

By the way Mr K, the dictionary clearly states that pedantic and picky are not the same Wink

We can allow the YYMMDD, personally, it makes sense, and is the best way to organize folders, etc on a computer.

This will be the compromise... we wrecked the english language and its dozens of dialects, but to make up for it, we saved it by helping you fend off another European nation who will remain nameless at this point... ja?

To anyone who is upset by that remark... sorry... if you couldn't tell, much of my heritage is from that nation, and I love that nation... just calling a spade a spade.

US entry into WWII wasn't solely an act of selfless gratitude. We watched for two years from the sidelines and only got involved once we were attacked by Japan. Four days later Hitler declared war on the US and we had no choice.
