After listening to this yesterday for like the 4th time, I gotta say it MIGHT be my favorite of May '77. A supreme Betty Board.... The band was fucking SMOOTH and the playing seems effortless. The marathon first set is a monster, great choice of songs and a Scarlet>Fire to close the set, that's kinda special.
I would go over this show song by song, but I dunno, can't really put songs into words without being repetitive....
If I were to condense this show of its highlights it would look like this...
Set one - 1/2 Step, El Paso,TLEO,Jack Straw,Jack-a-Roe ,High Time,Scarlet>Fire(MAGIC!)
Set 2-Bertha>Good Lovin',Brown Eyed Woman, Terrapin>Playin>Drums>Wharf Rat>Playin. E:Sugar Magnolia(CRUSHES)
Some little notes: Mickey's Birthday and Donna's homecoming
If you never heard this one, give it a skim.
