11-12-1993 Madison Square Garden, New York, NY
Set 1
How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)
They Love Each Other
Forever Young
Struggling Man
Money Honey
My Sisters And Brothers
Lay Down Sally
Set 2
Shining Star
You Never Can Tell
Wonderful World
The Maker
Don't Let Go
That Lucky Old Sun (Just Rolls Around Heaven All Day)
Tangled Up In Blue
Notes
Entire show with David Murray on saxophone except The Maker. Jerry introduces David after How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You).

The Lay Down Sally to close the first set finds the man going into territory usually reserved for Don't Let Go, which you ALSO get in the second set. An always sweet Shining Star, They Love Eachother brings a classic to the show, a Tangled Up in Blue to close, all with a guest for the whole show makes this one a winner. Quality is not too bad, but not great. Enjoy!

You cut right to the heart of me with that one lucasmcain... I love the addition of a sax with Jerry...

This will definitely be the first I listen too... I have heard some, but its been a WHILE since I listened to much JGB to be honest.

Yeah, I haven't heard half the Jerry shows from '93, there might be others that are better audio quality, but this MSG show would be the one that is probably far above the rest as far as how much the show kicks ass.

Question I have, because I haven't listened in years: is this the MSG JGB show with the biggest, fattest Scarlet Begonias tease right before the start of the 2nd Set?

Might be '91. It's only like 3 or 4 seconds long or something like that but it's so clear as day. Mannn...

Only JGB show I saw was Buffalo in I think it was Nov 1993. Great show. If anyone has a link to it I would appreciate.
