This is still a long ways off, but I thought it would be a good idea to have a place where we could jot down shows for future consideration when Swami eventually revisits the PoL.

I'll start with 8/5/89
Features a wicked pre-drums sequence of Pocky Way>PITB>I Know You Rider>Terrapin
Solid SOTM and Throwing Stones after space.
I only listened to these songs at this juncture, and I find it a prudent choice.

It's a star studded 2nd set, that includes "What's Goin' On?", by Marvin Gaye, in the power slot.

Two
Chinese Bones [2] ;

Crazy Fingers ;
Man Smart, Woman Smarter ;
Every Time You Go Away [3] ;
What's Going On? [3] >
Drums [4] >
Space >
The Wheel >
Throwing Stones >
Not Fade Away [5] >
Good Lovin'
Encore - Knockin' On Heaven's Door [6]

Show was a Rain Forrest Benefit, [1] Mick Taylor ; [2] Suzanne Vega ; [3] Daryl Hall and John Oates ; [4] Baba Olatunji & Michael Hinton ; [5] Hornsby on NFA ; [6] Jack Cassady ; Bruce Hornsby and the Range opened.

I have decided to add some new data as well as new nominees, and create a Version II POL list. The revised methodology will include Low/Med-Low/Med-High/High in place of the previous 3-tier Low/Med/High subjective component. The weight of this component will increase, offset by a decrease in the "berries." I think this will make for an even better list.

This will take a while so please feel free to post some more nominees - I would like to get up to 450-500 total nominees (400 considered for v1).

I think that's a solid idea.

Speaking of which, now that my semester is over, I need to get back into handling the top 30 I started!
