#85 7/16/1990 Rich Stadium, Orchard Park, NY
#84 8/31/1980 Capital Centre, Landover, MD
#83 12/7/1979 Indiana Convention Center, Indianapolis, IN
#82 7/18/1990 Deer Creek Music Center, Noblesville, IN
#81 7/19/1989 Alpine Valley Music Theatre, East Troy, WI

With this installment, the bottom 20 of the countdown is complete. Here we have 3 late-era Summer shows, and also back-to-back Indiana shows.

#85 is strong start-to-finish and represents this final Brent tour well
#84 has maybe the most excited crowd I've ever heard. Massive Comes A Time
#83 awesome pre-Drumz 2nd Set
#82 has an "Hour of Power" from Terrapin through Dew - a personal favorite of mine
#81 well-known run of shows here - this one excellent

Of these, I take 8/31/80. We just did an LP of that recently, no? I remember because of the Comes a Time, which may be the most perfect (redundantly good) version in the Brent Era.

Definitely another solid 5 shows!

Is the powerslot jam in 79 an orbital? Or just a circumstancial? Can't recall.

Love that Alpine show, and agree it is the stand out of that group.

And, your remark about the MLB Jam/Not Jam in Buffalo. Can you clarify?

We didnt LP 8/31/80 but we did post-show highlights from it's Set 2.

Doesn't quite go "orbital," just a Circumstancial.

I copy and paste the set lists from setlits.net, and the MLB name appears in the lineup. Personally, I do not believe that it is an MLB jam - the chord progression utilized is similar but not exactly the same.

deadbase.com...

Quote:
07-16-90 Rich Stadium, Orchard Park, N.Y. (Mon)
1: Bucket, Half Step, Blow Away, Mama Tried> Mexicali, Loose Lucy, All Over Now, High Time, Let It Grow> Don't Ease
2: Sugar Magnolia> Scarlet> Woman Smarter, Ship Of Fools, Truckin> Jam> Drumz> Wheel> Gimme Some Lovin> Wharf Rat> Around> Sunshine Daydream E: Brokedown
final "Blow Away" - "Jam" includes brief "Mind Left Body" theme - Crosby, Stills & Nash opened

I'll have to listen... sometimes Bob hit the chord progression a few times, but it didn't stick. I am ignorantly assuming that was what this was.

12/7/79 is terrific. I'll be going back to this one again and again, for sure.
