Ok, Dave is clearly only interested in the pre-Brent days, based on his picks, which sucks, and means we won't get a 1984 official release anytime soon.

However, I wanted to touch on this show. I think, overall, the show is a bit overrated...
However, there is that super solid portion from Truckin>MLB Jam>Spanish Jam> Wharf Rat that qualifies for some of their "eternal" stuff...

I remember there once being a 1974 project back at another site, and this show... I can't recall if it got to this point.

Where do you guys put it in terms of 1974?

The next pick by Dave is an early Brent show 8/30/80. I'm sure you already know about it being released. I went to 7/31/74 and barely remember it except for the UJB encore. When I listen to it today I consider it to be a strong show with the meat of it quite tasty. The 3rd set looks normal enough from where the tunes are placed. The first two sets (Especially set II) the song placements look weird. I don't know, maybe it's just me. I have thought on occasion that perhaps this was originally planned to be two sets and the guys changed their minds and wanted to play more. At any rate this was a long friggin' day. Don't forget there was also a Seastones set!

Actually, I didn't know about that Dave Pick.

Yes, no seastones is a plus! Hahahhaa

I'm sure it was an awesome, long day. Overall, I think they just overextended by playing so long, compared to some of the other shows. 3 sets was generally a bridge too far, in any era.

Oh, that is a good show!
11/29/80 being a Swami favorite, I remember liking 11/30 as well.
