Anyone interested in acquainting or reacquainting themselves with Frank Zappa could do worse than checkout Plop's 'praise or erase' Divegeester Mixes via either

Cool I do need some Frank Zappa guidance, so if you can give me some directions I will be thankful. Thanks for the links and the blog!

For me, guitarwise, Zappa works on a different part of my brain than The Garcia/Weir Thing does. If I am not bingeing on Dead, I might be bingeing on Zappa - but the two bingeings hardly ever overlap. I have different mood periods. When it's a Zappa period, I am not really listening to the Dead. So maybe there is a brain-area-factor... like kanji v Roman alphabet or something. So giving Zappa guidance is tricky. He had eras, genres, different bands/purposes etc. What have you heard?

There was a solo electric "guitar" piece which was awsome ... I have no clue what album it was on. The I have heard some kind of "best of". You know what I'll download and listen to the music and then I'll tell you more ... Thanks!
