I just love this show! For those who don't know it, it is similar to the the recent "Let It Rock" release with Nicky Hopkins on keyboards. Interestingly, Tim Hensley plays electric keyboard this night in addition to Hopkins. In my opinion, this show is better than the "Let It Rock" release. The highlights are many, and I strongly encourage anyone not familiar with this show to check it out.

Some of the points to really check out are the opening All By Myself, Catfish John, Teddy Bear's Picnic, Pig's Boogie, Let It Rock (with a lovely introduction and a blazing final jam), Tore Up, Mystery Train (did Jerry ever play a bad one of these?), and the fun band introductions by Nicky before Edward. This show is one of the few I'm familiar in this era with where the band really chose the set lists and song order in a way that give the show a more GD show-type vibe/flow.

LSP member Sugarmag generously uploaded this show on rapidshare for me. If you don't have it, check out her blog and get it!! Thanks again Sugarmag!

I'd love some feedback, so critique away.

I must say I'm a little bummed that no one has commented on the show! I guess I'll just keep on enjoying it in obscurity!

G-N, I have been a big proponent of this show for quite some time. The dual keyboards adds a nice layer of depth to the sound and takes some of the pressure off Jerry to fill in the spaces around Nicky's piano. The Edward is killer. I also like the Crazy Arms, Road Runner and Let It Rock. I like the Let It Rock set better overall but 10/11 is one killer show.

You should let The Jerry Site know a version of this show exists. I was surprised to see they don't event have a listing for the date notwithstanding its listed in the Jerry Base section of DeadBase IX.
