Don't know if you guy's have heard this one but it's really interesting. Recorded between 72-73 it's basically a session for his unreleased album Fire On The Mountain. Lots of rough material and a (IMHO) kick ass early version of Fire On The Mountain which mite actually be the first recorded rap song? Playing on the album were John Cipollina, David Freiberg, Jerry Garcia, Mickey Hart, Robert Hunter, Phil Lesh, Kathi McDonald, Jim McPherson, Barry Melton and Steven Shuster. They are sometimes listed on tapelists as "The Marin County Collective."

Yes, there were two unreleased albums "Fire On The Mountain" and "Area Code 415" if I'm not mistaken. I have the cassette somewhere around here....

Songs included: Ghost Riders in the Sky, It Makes Me Mad, You Know I Will, I Heard You Singing, Night Of The Vampire, Fire On The Mountain, Speed Racer, Ariel, and others that I don't have titles for.

I think the download consists of both of the albums..... I can't even describe the music, very different I guess from what you mite think Mickey would be into? Remind's me a lot of Captain Beefheart's Trout Mask Replica.....well maybe not that weird.....
