One of the frustrating things is that while we get to hear the Dead play many of their shows, they also had some great musicians opening for them playing at the same show so when we hear a sow and miss out on other acts you lose some of what could have inspired the band.
Mostly in the 65-74 period, The NRPS of course, but people liek Commander Cody, Willie Nelson/Waylon Jennings, the Who, Beach Boys, Maria Mulduar and Miles Davis.
Wasn't at this show sadly, imagine this as the opening act then the Dead, musta been quite a night. We know Jerry and the boys were fans of Miles. Wonder if they worked a Spanish Jam in that day.
