Has anybody caught any shows from Mickey Hart's tour? They are playing here in Minneapolis in mid-December, but I am not sure if it's worthwhile. Suggestions?

My friend's wife went to a show, but no report as of yet. The only comment I have read was at Lossless Legs. The reviewer called it very "Yanni-ish".
Mickey is into that kind of music. Remember when he collaborated with Kitaro?

Just downloaded a show from a couple nights ago 12/17/2011 and am very impressed with what I hear. The jam's have got a very trancy, psychedelic, drums->space feel to it. There's also some really nice guitar shredding thrown into the mix. I would definetly go check these guys out if there ever in my neck of the woods.

He's also trotting out some new Robert Hunter songs on this tour. Reports from actual concert attendees I received praised the show on the 16th of december, in particular the vocalist and the guitarist.
