Thanks.
It'll be interesting to see if Gilmore and him can get over their huge egos and play together again.

I heard really good things about his DSOTM tour! I've watched some if not most of the footage from one of their ( Floyd's ) original shows in the 80's. I would think with the way technology has progressed that this might just be a must see if you can pull it off! Atlanta is as close as he's coming here and I don't see that happening. Too bad.

ATL November 18 is now on the calendar. Lucas we might be able to work something out. It will be a great show and prolly the last chance I will have to see a Floyd member.

For some reason people think that musicians have some authority. Its just the way its come about. They must think that as our playing makes them feel good, then our talking will make them feel good, too. I think that if I was left to my wits as a politician, Id fail drastically. We all would. All we really do is play.

My brother was at the show in ... I guess he said Verona (Italy). He is a Pink Floyd radical fan and he really liked it! So if You like PF I think You will have fun.

Personally I don't like to listen to songs played just exactly as the album. The reason I love the Dead is improvisation and surprise, ... I just can't find this in Pink Floyd performances, I guess I couldn't find those elements in Rogers concerts either! So I prefer to listen to the studio albums.

Question for you, Tizi...
Did Waters do the presentation of the Wall just musically? Or did they build the wall during the concert, etc, like when Floyd was still together?

Walked my happy ass down to the venue to avoid TicketMonster fees... ended up paying $84.75/ticket.
Got 3rd level, front row, dead center of stage. Very nice!

NogoodmotherfuckinpieceofshitgoddamLiveNation........OK deep breath.......So my friend who said he bought the ticlets indeed did not.....So, I go on Livenations site to buy and get put in the waiting room for 40 minutes, get through, select the seats I want and it keeps directing me to more expensive seats with no explination.....Try about 50 times with no luck...Then select nosebleeds and they keep directing me to obstructed view seats in a lower section.....This process went on for 20 more minutes until best available came up as obstructed view...This is well, more fuel for my theory that they were trying to force people to bu the more expensive seats before the chaper seats...Whatever, and good luck tring to get these seats.....I have no idea what the hell is going on with these shows and the ticket process.......GoddamsonafabitchassbagLivenationonlineticketingsystem...OK, rant over..

Yeah, exactly why I went to the venue... I hate TM/LN... it's a total scam. Don't worry, when it sells out, they will link you to their other site, where they bought up 1/2 the tickets in advance in order to sell them at 4 times the face value.
It's ruthless... I hate TM, I hate them.
I ordered my U2 tickets through them only because there was no box office option at the venue... other than that, I have been going to the box office since P&F 2007... saved a ton of money that way.

MY MISTAKE: MY BROTHER WAS TO A "REGULAR" CONCERT OF ROGER WATERS, WHICH WAS GRATE! HE DID A LOT OF THE WALL SONGS AND DARK SIDE OF THE MOON SONGS. SO I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE WALL SHOW - WHICH IS A "NEW" PROJECT. SOOOORY

No problem brother!
Should be an awesome show... with new technology adding to it, according to the guy who did the last Wall tour in the 80s.

Not too excited about the no name back up band... but I guess Gilmour and Waters just about fucking hate each other to death... I never really found out why. Waters took most of the blame in a recent interview I saw. I REALLY wish they would get over it already.

I think it had something to do with Waters egomaniac ways and then that one time he sued Gilmour and the rest of Floyd for the name of Pink Floyd.

I have recently read that they don't hate each other any more, Gilmour just doesn't want to perform under the name Pink Floyd.

You are gonna have fun for sure!!!
I love Roger's weird voice the best PF album to me is "The Final Cut", which is more a RW solo album ... there is a song (don't remember the name ... "Fletcher's memorial" ... something) where he sings loud a tune and then his voice melts with the sax!!!!

Tell me that a Floyd fan wouldn't find this exciting and I will find a deadhead that wouldn't be excited to have a time machine for any show of their choosing.

Wow, they look old! I would love to see/hear it. Can't believe it took the Palestinians to bring them back together.

That would be the gunners dream. And i think it would be pretty dam incredible if gilmour decided to play the lead guitar for the wall tour. Because i wouldnt want anybody but him play the last solo for comfortably numb.

I said at first I would never pay it, but then I saw how fast they sold out at that price and was like [CENSORED] it..You only live once, right? Can't wait for October!!

I saw the show on the 16th of November...
All I can say is...
Best concert I have ever been to.

If you like Floyd... do whatever it takes to go see this... it's not just a concert, in fact, it is a full spectrum presentation that will make your mind explode.

So, I have seen it ... wonderful!!! Awesome!!! ... form A to Z ... I mean the music Roger's voice, the lights/effects, the Arena was packed with some 20.000 people.

Its hared to compare with other shows I have seen because each great show have its meris but this one will surely stick in my mind!

All my friends were positively surprised except for 1 of them who was obsessed with ... well the beer... he was constantly bringin beers after beer ... and got to know a girl (pretty but not interessed with the show ... she was talking [CENSORED] all the show with that acute/screaming voice Crying or Very sad ).

Well 10 stars show ... Cool

yes I am certain, very clear to see it on the various videos from the shows here in the states, maybe not everything is "playback" but a big part of Rogers vocals are pre-recorded

I knew it going to the show, I had read it but it didn't distract for me, was a great spectacle and a show like this was SO much more than just the vocals now wasn't it?
