We all know that he was co-creator of the hit or miss seastones (a miss for mostly everybody on the site), but I've heard played a few regular songs with the bands. Can anybody point out some specific moments? Or is this wrong?

And a follow up question, I've also heard Jerry sat in for a few seastones, can anybody show me them?

There is a video of a few seconds of Playin from 9/21/74 where you actually can see Ned. Deadlists has the second set as Seastones>Playin>Drums Playin. The video is only the last few seconds of Playin where you can see Ned and his rig. I'm going to guess that Ned was on for the Whole set.

Bang here it is:

So from the vid you see Ned for the end of Playin, but he and his rig were not there for the Third set, starting with Row Jimmy. One of the reviewers states that Ned was on thru Dew, but the video evidence suggests otherwise.

Anyway that is a confirmed Ned sighting and recording. Not 100% sure on other performances but I'm sure there are some.

The Seastones on the other source is cut.

Believe it or not, it's Keith going nuts with those synths on 6/16. Ned didn't start playing with them until 6/23, I believe.

To hear Ned tell it, he sat in with them more than we'd think, but never seemed to make it onto the recordings (10/18/74 is a good example: he's definitely there, but not audible). You can hear him sitting in on 9/11/74, 10/16/74, I think 8/14/71 (on Pig's organ), 3/23/75... he was onstage for 6/17/75 but hard to tell if you can actually hear him, he says he's playing on the 2/18/71 Dark Star.

As for Phil & Ned's with Jerry, there are a few... off the top of my head, I think 7/19/74, many of the Oct 74 ones... there's a whole Seastones gig from 6/6/75 with Jerry sitting in. It's unclear, but I'd argue that it's pretty safe to assume that Ned had something to do with the 11/28/73 Garcia/Hart gig.
