During which eras can you find the best versions of the following songs? I don't necessarily mean the all-time best single version. Define the eras any way you like.

Bird Song
Eyes
He's Gone
Dark Star
Let It Grow
Playin'
Morning Dew
Terrapin
China -> Rider

Bird Song - Brent Era, with the Vince Era a close second... very exploratory in either period, with effects to boot
Eyes - Tough one... a tie between Brent and Keith Era... They are the same, yet different... and it just depends what I am in the mood for really
He's Gone - Brent Era as it was more likely to include a Gone Jam at the end... so it gets the nod
Dark Star - Hmmm... Keith Era in general, though my favorite is 7/12/90
Let It Grow - 79-81, Jerry noodles it out of control
PITB - Brent Era, driven, crazy jams... Vince had some nice ones such as 5/26/93, which might be my favorite ever (thanks Swami)... of course, the Keith Era had some greats, though I don't need the uberlong, spacey versions
Dew - Any era will do... but if I had to choose... Brent (specifically 87-90) > Pigpen > Keith
Terrapin - Vinny Goombatz era, particularly 93, the Year of the Turtle
China>Rider - Keith Era

Let me add a couple more...
Here Comes Sunshine - Keith Era
Deal - Brent Era by far for the excellent extendo jams
TLEO - Keith Era
TOO - Brent Era... just give me the intense noodles!
GDTRFB - Brent Era - energy to drive by
NFA - Keith Era, see Cornell
FOTD - Brent Era, as he breaks it down [CENSORED] during his solo
Minglewood - Brent Era, easily, preferably after 82... so you can get the culmination jam at the end

I never actually chimed in...

Bird Song - This one improved with age. Late 80s and 90s. 93 Bird Songs were very strong.
Eyes - Always great. Very hard to choose. Probably 77-78.
He's Gone - Not sure I can really say. I love the 90s versions.
Dark Star - I'm a sucker for the early, early versions. Such a tough call. It's either 68-69 or the Donna-free late-70s.
Let It Grow - Early 80s. So friggin hot.
Playin' - 73-74
Morning Dew - 73-74
Terrapin - Another late-bloomer. I like the Vince-era Terrapins.
China -> Rider - 73-74

I can't imagine anyone not thinking the best Morning Dew is 80s.
