So, no 66, 67, 86, 87, or 93. I kind of like the executive decision on 93 Koch.

It went by the total number of votes...
Since we had very few people vote for anything from 86 or 87, they didn't have enough "weight" to get a slot...
Possible votes per year were decided by total number of circulating shows, BUT, that was meaningless in the case of no one actually VOTING enough for those years.

This system was very good, actually, and would have been way better with more participation, but it is what it is...

Maybe it'll come back in a year or two, who knows...
66 has almost no worthwhile shows, got very few votes in general...
Was surprised about 67 not getting any, but not upset...
Thought that 87 would register, but oh well...

I think you also mean 92, instead of 93...

Thank you for compiling this musical basket of goodies that we'll be sure to pack on our road trips this summer! I'll be sure to cast my vote for my favorites next year.

So bzfgt mentioned it in another thread, but when can we expect the brackets and match ups to get posted? The voting takes f-o-r-e-v-e-r once we finally do get started in order to be fair and let people take time to listen to what they are voting on. And people need time to lobby for their favorites. There's no real deadline of course, I'm just curious.

Our normal tournament meister let me know he cannot do it this year... and I really don't have the time nor inclination to do it myself.

We should ask Cliff Hucker to come and do it... since he spoiled the first year by creating about 10 different accounts in order to throw the voting the way he wanted it.
Anybody got any street cred with him? I don't think he likes me very much.

I'll be happy to set something up for next year's voting. I'm thinking we can do it on one of the on-line survey websites that will do the stats electronically. Let me look into it over the next few days and get back to you all.

Being "retired" now, I have a lot of extra time on my hands.

Appreciate all the hard work the Top 64 and this site takes. Cheers!
