I was thinking this (requests for JGB shows) may start happening more often, and why not put your sharing requests and replies up here, in this thread...

Looking for 7-26-92 Shoreline SBD. This is the last Jerry show I went to. I've got an AUD mp3 (YUCK!).

Really want a lossless SBD!

Yes, I can burn the DVD for folks too of this show, B&P style.
The next night is tremendous as well! I don't have that on video.

Has anyone seen JGB 11/22/91 floating around for download? My one and only Jerry show.

(not Jerry related, but would love to hear Mickey's show (Planet Drum) from the Vic the night before or after - remember this as being MAGICAL)

looking for albany 11/16/91. Jerry guitar breaks during the lay down sally 2nd set opener and then Jerry disappears for 10 minutes but the band just kept going on. then Jerry reappears and from my vantage point (far away) he has a guitar that is the color of a banana...

that's what I remember...

I just checked I don't have that one. If I did I would be more than happy to upload it. What other shows were you at? I can upload them if I have them. That goes for everyone. I am more than happy to take requests for uploads. I might be a little slow on them but they will be up within the month of the request.

Might work. Might not. If it does, that's Lossless. No mp3, sorry. If that's no good for you, I'll be happy to convert it to 320 kbps mp3 and do the Uploads for ya. Have 'er done in 24 hrs or less .... i hope. But let me know if you don't need me to.

That's so bogus. Born Cross Eyed is a bitch. I thought their IP checking system might only be to get through to the downloads but it works for each individual lossless download, as well. DANG IT!!!

Oh well, I'll get on that Albany show for ya :)

I appreciate the time and effort. for me right now I am still stuck in the mp3 world and have not progressed to lossless. still waiting for a higher speed connection. I literally moved around the corner and my dl speed was cut in half. waiting for verizon to get their act in gear and get me fios.

anyway, looking forward to albany in mp3.

do you think that the backup guitar Jerry had to break out when rosebud failed was the original tiger?

no those paranoid schitzos battened down the hatches when too many folks started posting the links to the servers :)

anyway though, no JGB available on it but I do have a link for an unsecured GD Lossless 66-72 server if anyone's is interested..prefer to not post here since well since I promised to not do such a thing..oh wait I did and now look at me banned..

Well, I feel kinda shy about asking, but this thread does have its own sticky and I've been wondering about these for a while now, so does anyone have these in any format at all? Not picky, just wanna hear 'em:

9/6/73 Passaic
6/4/74 Lion's Share (I have some of this on a chopped up old cassette and need to hear the rest -- it's a great one!)
8/31/74 Keystone
2/14/75 The Generosity, San Fran
12/3/83 Stonybrook (on lucasmcain's recommendation!)

11/16/80 Dylan @ the Warfield w/Jer (fwiw, the bootleg "Wear the Fox Hat" seems to be the best available, according to bobsboots.com)

and both/either of those Diga Rhythm Band shows from May 75, one at Winterland, the other at Golden Gate Park.

EDIT: I forgot to say thank you. Thank you!

Yeah, THANK YOU s&r! I'll try and get some reviews up when the semester finally grinds to a close. That 6/4 show is one of the jazziest Jerry/Merl shows I've heard -- LOM and Reconstruction get a lot of praise as being Jerry's "jazz" bands, but both of those groups mixed up a really wide variety of material. But look at 6/4's list:

- Set 1 -
Ptah, The El Daoud [Alice Coltrane]
Expressway (To Your Heart)
I Second That Emotion
Wondering Why
Soul Roach
- Set 2 -
All Blues
New York City
Harder They Come
Night They Drove Old Dixie Down

That first set alone is 3 jazz tunes and 2 r&b numbers, one of which (Expressway) is instrumentally stretched far beyond the original, which meets my definition of jazz. And thejerrysite says this was the only time Jerry played All Blues (Miles Davis, if ya forgot) live, so in my mind that makes this maybe the single "jazziest" Jerry performance that I've heard.

Of course, that all-instrumental 2/14/75 show make take the crown once I listen to it:
Little Bit of Righteousness [Merl, I think]
Favela [Jobim]
Pennies From Heaven [old jazz standard]
When I Die [Motherlode]
Valdez In The Country > [Donny Hathaway]
People Make The World Go Round [The Stylistics]
Boogie On Reggae Woman [Stevie]
Creepin' [Stevie]

woohoo! thanks, snowandrain! Very Happy
