I thought of being phisically very fit ... I do play basketball, run some when is not raining, but am not so active as before my baby boom let's say but never cared too much.

Yesterday I was challenged by my wife to do some push-ups and ... [CENSORED] I have done just 10 of them!!! Gosh ... I didn't do some pusk-ups ... well ... I don't know but like a decade if I stop and think about it. So, when I discovered how shitty I am I felt like being hit by na iceberg in the ass ...

That's why I wanted to ask the most childish thing is it normal?

..... well I think I have to start and do some exercise!!!

Any other have had some kind of similiar experience?

No, not yet anyhow. About 5 years ago when I turned 40 I was feeling a bit out of shape, so I worked out pretty regularly for, oh maybe 6 months. That was enough.

Hell, I can hike 15 miles a day with 40-50 pounds on my back in REALLY steep country. I spend a month to six weeks hunting each September (deer and elk), I snow shoe after cougars during the winter, I coach kids basketball (boys and girls separately - 2 seasons)and I ski quite a bit.

Who has time to exercise!

That's good man!

I'm 37 but unfortunately my job forces my ass to be in the office like 12 hrs a day and this is hard.

The point is that when you don't get extra weight and you feel phisically pretty much OK you just to forget the exercise.

So I run pretty well, not a marathon but 3 - 4 kilometers I can do it with not much force .... and here come my surprise ... about the push-ups!

I try to work out at lunch, but my office has a gym and a locker room with showers... without that, I would probably not work out nearly as much, so I am glad it's here!

When I got out of the Army, I gained about 40 lbs over 2 years...
It took me 2 years to lose that weight, so now I don't want to gain it back ever again... if only I could stop eating chocolate and drinking high calorie belgian beers as if it were my job.
