Aye aye Captain!

When I read your post, I immediately thought about the captain of the boat in Jaws. Over and over he sings that dumb song about the ladies of Spain. Let's hope they don't bite!

And in keeping with the Jaws/Koch/Spain tip.....

Quint: Farewell and adieu to you, fair Spanish ladies. Farewell and adieu, you ladies of Spain.
For we've received orders for to sail back to Boston. And so nevermore shall we see you again

Have fun Koch go to see Barcellonetta and expecially La Rambla in the evening and you will not regret it. Just beware of the local gypses stealing everything (one try to sell you things and the friends steal) they are incredible in this job Laughing This happens when you look at girls or talk to them and the gypses come with the roses asking you to buy them.

The 2nd photu is the Segrada Familia Chatedral they are building it for 200 years now and is still not finished. I was there in february of this year and a friend told me that the Bishop of Barcellona have just opened one little portion of it during that month ... so the first holly mass have been held like in March Laughing
Gaudi' the famous architech have planned the "old" side of the chatedral, but I guess that your photo is of the "new" / modern side.

The 3rd photo is a house by Gaudi' again ... this architect did the houses as if he was drunk ... but in a good way. There, on the left you have a very very good restaurant .... mainly meat and tapas, but also a very good selection of vine.

Fuck I had to come and join you Koch!!!!

Very Happy

Good knowledge there tizi!! I was about to comment on the first picture that it looked like Orcs designed and built that cathedral! Rob is there anyway to shrink those pics up a little. I can't get them on my screen in one frame. Or it could be that I just [CENSORED] at the internet! Crying or Very sad

Those are pretty huge pix, but they are great, very nice scenes. Lucas I have Mozilla Firefox and under the View menu there is a zoom option, you can zoom in and out to make the page smaller or larger. I scaled mine way down but I can still read the posts, that can really help, you might be able to fit the whole picture in the "frame" then.

Good idea Cheese!
My suggestion was going to be save them, them shop them...
I haven't had time.

I hate how the cameras take all the pictures so HUGE, but I understand why.

Haha, La Rambla was fun, but the real action there was in the Barri Gotic!
At some point some fat african hooker snuck up and before I knew what was going on she had an iron grip on my arm, my friend yelled "RUN!", and we did... she ran after us! That was too funny.

Haha! Yeah! It sucked though because I still had my sunglasses with me, they fell off my shirt and got damaged pretty badly.

In this case, the woman tried to pillage my shores!

We also went to Sevilla, Granada, Cordoba and Madrid...
Sevilla and Granada rocked, in Granada there was a street party of about 1000 people, it was kind of laid back though, no rowdiness or fights (which is a good thing of course).

This is the "old" side of the chatedral (Gaudi' work), so if you look better you will see that Jesus is putting the "crown" to one of the apostols who is on his knees. This might be St. Peter (Jesus' successor) and the sybloism is right there because the Pope is St. Peter's successor ... at least for the chatolics Very Happy

The chatedral is calle Segrada Familia (Holy family) and all the mighty chatedral describes the life of the whole family ... not onlyJesues.

Can you imagine it is 200 years that they are building this cathedral and it will take an estimated 100 years more to be over!!!!

Now there is a scandal becuse the authorities want to build a underground railway right under the Chatedral Shocked
