Venue The Omni
Location Atlanta, GA
Date 3/3/92 - Tuesday
One Hell In A Bucket ; Sugaree ; Walkin' Blues ; Candyman ; Queen Jane Approximately ; Tennessee Jed ; Corrina
Two Iko Iko ; Playing In The Band > Uncle John's Band > Wave To The Wind > Drums > Space > China Doll > Throwing Stones > Turn On Your Lovelight
Encore Brokedown Palace

Set One*******************************************************

Cousin Brucey and Dr. Phil light it up in Bucket and it's accordian bliss in the ensuing Sugaree. The remainder of the set just flows smoothly, culminating in a diaper dandy Corrina that works perfectly in the set-ending slot.

Set Two******************************************************

After my heart, Bruce is back on the accordian during a very festive Iko opener, fully jammed with some nice MIDI Jerry. Next up is a very well executed Playin-UJB combo - not especially lengthy, but each jam segment delivers in it's duty very professionally. From the wah-wah Playin riffs to the "take his children home" outtro, this is as good as 92 gets.

Yes, Wave to The Wind is next, and yes - IT'S GREAT! Very brisk, early version of the song - delivered in much the fashion of a throwin stones, but its Phil!!! Come on guys - its Phil. Well done for me very satisfying into the Drumz.

Space-Doll is again as good as it gets for late Brucey 92 action. Spookey tones giving way to rock bottom as the Doll intro picks up the pieces. Epic Jerry gives the spine chills as some ambient Bruce will be what a hornsby shall be. Throwin Stones-Lovelight a great choice to comfortably fit your Maxell XL-2 90 cassette full of Weir'dness and room for a nostalgic Brokedown encore.

Never heard a peep about this show anywhere, but it stands up against any other from this tour in terms of performance. Excellent execution of an average setlist; solid effort put in by all band members. Highly recommended.

By the way the AUD sound quality is actually pretty dynamic, but does feature some chatter from the faithful. Very listenable.

Even the blind man knows when the rain is falling.
