Set 1 Mississippi Half Step, Minglewood Blues, Lazy River Road, Broken Arrow, Eternity, Loose Lucy, Johnny B. Goode
Set 2 Iko Iko, Wave To The Wind, Playin' In The Band-> Uncle John's Band, Corinna, Drums-> Jam-> I Need A Miracle, The Days Between-> Throwing Stones-> Turn On Your Love Light, E: I Fought The Law
I have not been a huge supporter of these three shows, this being the last of the three chronologically. I have been re-assessing my opinion of this show however.
The highlight of the first set is the Lazy River Road, truly a great one. I love this song in general though. The 1/2 Step & the JBG were also well done.
The 2nd set offers a couple of disappointments, the main reason I disliked it before. The first disappointment is clearly Wave To The Wind! You know why everyone likes the Autzen shows so much? Because they didn't play this song. It even poisoned the PITB that followed it. Bobby blows the first lines quite badly, and the jam is uncoordinated and aimless, minus a few several second moments.
Just when you think it can't get worse, it doesn't. They completely redeem themselves with an GREAT UJB with serious jamming lined with great interplay. This is the highlight of the show. This transitions quite nicely into a good Corrina, with a quick tempo that really suits the songs searing rhythm guitar going slow and heavy.
During space we get a treat, as Bobby tries to take us into the UJB Reprise (unsuccessfully), and there is some really great jamming. The Miracle is decent, and then we get a nice, nice Days Between that reminds us of our own mortality and disappointments so succinctly.
Before I really despised this show, now I know I just need to skip the Wave & PITB (I pretty much never skip that song either).
