2-14-70 is one of my favorite Pig-Era shows, and I have noticed that it gets no love whatsoever on the Pub. The following is all classic:

[2:26:05 +] [1:51 Intro by Zacherle] ; Casey Jones [4:29] ; [0:05] ; Mama Tried [2:31] ; [1:24] ; Hard To Handle [6:06] ; [3:18] ; Monkey And The Engineer [1:32] ; [0:43] ; Dark Hollow [2:37] ; [0:43] ; I've Been All Around This World [4:02] ; [0:18] ; Wake Up Little Susie [2:22] > Black Peter [7:19] ; [0:04] % Uncle John's Band [5:#54] ; [2:30] ; Katie Mae [3:19] ; [0:20] % [2:31] ; Dancing In The Street [9:15] ; [0:25] ; China Cat Sunflower [3:09] > Jam [2:37] > I Know You Rider [4:18] > High Time [6:41] > [0:10] > Dire Wolf [4:06] ; [0:44] ; Alligator [3:44] > Drums [12:48] > Me And My Uncle [3:07] > Not Fade Away [13:59] > Mason's Children [3:53] > Caution (Do Not Stop On Tracks) [14:25] > Feedback [8:42] > And We Bid You Good Night [1:39] ; [0:14]

Spontaneous, energetic, rockin', pigged-out shizzatte here. If no-one follows up on this I will be forced to do a full review at an undetermined future point in time.

It is also featured on Bear's Choice. That show is all chopped up now missing many songs on the archive. Thanks to the double release. Interestingly, Bear himself wants the whole show released as well.

I'm a fan of this show (and the whole run). Classic 1970.

Alligator through the end is some of the most incredible music ever created.

This show, at least the beginning, gets no play when the family is around because Zacherle shouts "the Grateful Goddam Dead!" and then there is that extremely audible cocaine reference in the lyrics in Casey Jones right after that.
Also that Chinarider transition is sick but they totally blow the vocals and bring you back to earth right at the beginning of IKYR.

Again, one I haven't pulled out in a while.

I see that I have gd1970-02-14.sbd.miller.97644.sbeok.flac16 and gd1970-02-14.shnlen.sbeok. I'm fairly certain that although it's not on the hdds that I have some video of this night. B&W iirc and Jerry jams on the drums for a bit.

Something else to look for <sigh>

I have that piece of footage as well, extremely spotty, but you can see the boys have those FILLMORE shirts on....You can also make out the old school psychedelic ameoba light show splatting against the back wall......

Does anyone have the entire 2/14/70? I was just thinking that I have never heard it in its complete form.
