David Bowie - Glass Idol In Berlin
Reichstag Gelande, Berlin Germany
June 06, 1987

Author: unknown
Audio Source: FM (see notes)
Lineage: CD-R > EAC > FLAC 8
Number of Discs: 1
Artwork: included

Total running time: 72 minutes

Notes:
This is the same recording as the LP "Bang Bang" (but without the dreadful Tina Turner bonus). The description of "Bang

Bang" as found on Bassman's site:

A rather rare album. When the discs were pressed and ready for distrubution, the manufacturers got busted! Some discs were

saved and found their way out to the collectors. The recording is the complete German FM broadcast of the show. Excellent

sound quality! TONIGHT / LET`S DANCE - LET`S DANCE are from the official Tina Turner video from Birmingham 23.03.85. I think

this album was re-released, but I'm not sure?

The sound quality fluxuates bit, but is very good overall. However, this recording sounds more like a monitor recording with

audience noise mixed in rather than an FM broadcast.

I taped hundreds of shows between 1983 and 2004 and this

sound and high energy captured on the recording.
I included the poster from the show along with a scan of my

original ticket stub.
Hopefully everyone will enjoy!

The second release of the birthday concert, and the best one

available elsewhere The cover also gives a short description

of the show and some of the songs performed. A very nice

issue with excellent sound quality!

The Hannover Grand

Lineage: SilverCD--> EAC(secure)--> Flac(level.8)--> HungerCity!

The complete first "secret" club gig in London, a few days before the official Earthling Tour premiere.
This night the show was split into two sets, one "normal" and one "drum'n'bass" set.
The audience is very good during the first "normal" set, but looses interest during the second set.
This was the reason to choose the drum 'n' bass set as the opening set for all the remaining club gigs.
A wise decision! The sound quality of this audience recording is excellent.

DAVID BOWIE
"EN CONCERT"
LOCATION : LYON, THEATRE ROMAIN DE FOURVIERE
DATE : JULY 29TH, 1997
SOUND QUALITY : EXCELLENT AUDIENCE

LINEAGE : OFFMASTER TAPE>CDR>EAC(SECURE)>FLAC(LEVEL 8)>HUNGER CITY !

COMMENTS : I WAS AT THIS SHOW, LIVING ABOUT A 100 KMS FROM LYON...
THE FIRST PART WAS DJ DAVID WITH SOME DRUM 'N BASS. SUCH A BEAUTIFUL PLACE FOR A
BOWIE CONCERT !
BOWIE WAS IN EXCELLENT MOOD AND DELIVERED WHAT CAN BE CALLED A GREAT SHOW, SHORTER
THAN SOME OTHER SHOWS FROM THE TOUR, BUT AS POWERFUL.
THIS SHOW WAS RECORDED BOTH IN AUDIENCE AUDIO AND VIDEO BY SOME BELGIAN FRIENDS
I KNEW VERY WELL AT THAT TIME, SO THAT I COULD EASILY GET AN OFFMASTER COPY ON TAPE !!!
THE ARTWORK IS HOMEMADE AND I USED SOME PHOTOS TAKEN BY FANS AND SCREENSHOTS FROM THE VIDEO...

DISC 2 CONTAINS AN INTERVIEW I RECORDED MONTHS BEFORE ON THE FRENCH FM AND HAS DAVID SINGING
"BLUE MOON" AS IF HE WAS SINGING IT UNDER THE SHOWER !!!!
FUNNY MOMENT AS HE SAID : "OH ! I DROPPED THE SOAP !" !!!

The complete second night in Toronto and it is in excellent sound quality. The cover is again (as the JUNGLE FEVER CD)

rather sloppy, and the blurry picture inside it is really as bad as it can get! Both Toronto shows are great and quite long.

This CD and the JUNGLE FEVER CD are both worth the money.

2004-05-29 Atlantic City, NJ (AUD) Borgata Kill Appeal #1
99th show of the Reality Tour for David Bowie, arguably one of his best tours ever.

This show was a rescheduled show from Dec. of the previous year when he was knocked out with the flu for a couple of

weeks.
This show also has the first Diamond Dogs that was played on this tour. They rehearsed 50 songs spanning DB's career

before undertaking this tour. by the time it was done they had also included 8 more songs some cover songs like Blur's

"Song #2" from the The Chance , Poughkeepsie NY, and Liza Jane from the Homdel show I posted.
This show was a rather special show because it was a real small show and a rough ticket to be had if you weren't either

in the fan club or Comped by the Hotel and/or ClearChannel, and it was my friend Jim's Birthday and Bowie dedicated Heathen

to him. That made his day! That and the fact he lives in Atlantic City so it was hometown show for him as well.
