#70 9/11/1985 Henry J. Kaiser Convention Center, Oakland, CA
#69 6/28/1988 Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Saratoga, NY
#68 11/4/1985 The Centrum, Worchester, MA
#67 4/6/1989 Crisler Arena, U. of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI
#66 12/28/1989 Coliseum Arena, Oakland, CA

Couple of 85ers and 89ers here in this edition of POL. #s 69 & 67 both contain great late-80s Scarlet-Fires. #s 70 and 69 both have standout versions of Stella Blue. #68 may be Jerry's best show of that tour in terms of his lead guitar chops. #66 has some great Brent keys. Some hidden gems in here - all highly recommended.

1 42 beat intro to BIODTL is a nightmare, for starters... but yes, 9/11/85 is solid.

The Sara-TOGA party was probably the first 88 I really enjoyed, and I grow fonder of the year daily. This is my favorite of the 5.

Going to have to check out the 4/6/89, and I can certify that 12/28/89 is amazing.

I too like this show a lot. I was familiar with the NYE show from this year long before any of the others, and it's not high on my list. That caused me to be a little hesitant to jump into the rest of this run. I was worried it might not measure up to the fall and the spring that followed. This show definitely measures up!

I was surprised to see that both the 12/27 and 12/30 showed up in the POL countdown. Perhaps I need to give those another listen!

TO GA! TO GA! TO GA! #69 is hittin the spot like some good 69 should. Love the early Foolish set ender, and the ensuing Scarlet-Fire opening up a great 2nd Set.
