Terrible news ... makes e terribly sorry!!!

I will always remember his photos of the snake nest ... he was a ranger in Oregon! He also learned to play the guitar a few years ago and he encouraged me to do so in one of the threads!!!

My best thoughts to his family!!!

Very sad news. I know he had been batteling hard and was staying positive. I hope he finds his peace and that thankfully, all the pain is finally gone. Best wishes to his family.

Koch, is there anyway his family can see this thread? It might be nice for them to know that a bunch of random folks on the internet cared about him.

this is exactly what I was wandering. On the other hand I was worried about their feelings right now. Sometimes people like to go private ... at least for the first period. Anyway if there is a way to let the familily know we cared ...

I am just posting here to acknowledge this - but I really don't know what to say. Kind of shocked and very sad. My thoughts go out to all of his family and friends out there.

His FB account is still open, run by his wife... she could be contacted there.

This is terrible news to come back to after not being on the site for a while. He always had some great stories to tell. Like meeting John Kadlecik at a coffee shop in San Fransisco before new years eve 2010.

RIP brother, you will be greatly missed
