Here ya go Swami. Took me a while to get to it but I finally scanned 'em.

Roanoke '87 probably around 6:30-7:00 a.m. day of show. Drove from Pittsburgh the night before after the show. Figured it would not take too long. Yeah right. It was so freakin' hot even at 7:00 a.m. that sleep was impossible.

Thanks man ! Yea it looks familiar - like childhood snapshots archived in our mind.... I remember all the tents because camping was allowed by the arena (which is of course unheard of now). I also remember learning to juggle, and getting sleepy during the second set. At age 9, the music was way over my head, but I was into the scene - and loved the peeps.

So the juggler guy you were talking about at the LP was at that show? It was very likely the guy I was telling you about. I know in fall '85 he would take a HUMONGOUS stereo to play in the lot. Lived only a couple hours from there at the time. Really nice guy. Either had a little Honda? or a blue VW bus at that time. I did not see him there, but I was sleep deprived and with college friends. Did not move from the car the whole time except to go in.

I have the Other Ones or whatever they were from Roanoke about 5 years or more after that on CD if anyone wants them.

Great Pics man! I use to live in Roanoke, I've seen a few shows there and would drive by there on the way to work everyday. They dont have those booths any more, and times have changed cause they would never let people camp there now. My old boss, my high school teacher and and ex girlfriends dad were at the shows, maybe you guys met haha. Anyway thanks for sharing!
