Never actually listened to them before, they were'nt around too long. Any recommendations? Hopefully it's better than what Starship was doing around this time period?

KBC Band
The Kantner Balin Cassady Band
September XX, 1985 [between September 10th and September 13th]
Santa Cruz County Fair
Watsonville, California, USA

Pro-Shot by KRUZ - Santa Cruz Public TV - entire set - I don't think this material was ever broadcast or has otherwise circulated 'til now. It's from a camera mixdown that was on two U-Matic 3/4 inch video cassettes.

Quality is fairly excellent though the audio mix is a bit hot in the upper midrange on the instruments. And the sound changes quite a few times right in the middle of songs. But it's far from the worst mix ever and the vocals mostly sound fine. The video is a really great multi-camera mix, with lots of dissolves but it would've looked a lot better with brighter stage lighting. So I rate it Vg-Ex, but "user mileage may vary".
