I plan to Do A Spencer, tap your knowledge, and cobble together a 4 volume Plop's Morsels 1990 - specifically "Europe '90". So, dish out the insight & wisdom please. Favourite moments, versions, seques, set openers, set closers, encores? I'll wait a few days and then slap a Morsels playlist together.

In the frame...

Stockholm 13 October 1990
Essen 27 October 1990
Berlin 19 October 1990
Berlin 20 October 1990
Frankfurt 22 October 1990
Hamburg 24 October 1990
Paris 27 October 1990
Paris 28 October 1990
London 30 October 1990
London 31 October 1990
London 1 November 1990

Was that reference to me? I'd understand because all my posts are "whats your favorite this", or "show me the best that". I wish I could come up with deep topics like LightToAshs, Colonial or Swami, and not "greatest Truckin!" all the time Laughing

Never given the Europe 1990 run a listen though. I'll be interested to see what you guys recommend.

Spencer ignites the flame of insight and memory with his enquiry. Plop turns the flickering wisdom into a kind of Lost Sailor's Sea Trip release!

Hahaha!

I like 11/1/90 a lot... and I believe 10/22 was pretty cool...
As for specific songs, well, 11/1/90... I like the Stander on the Mountain to end the 1st set, but the real highlight is the Victim>Touch to start the second... followed by PITB>DS>D/S>Dark Star>PITB Reprise...

Yeah... I hear you... and for good reason.

Soeharto1, I hope you realize, and I am sure you do... going into this venture... you are not going to get anything nearly as cool as the 81 thread in this vein!

I'm not big on that tour in general, but 11-01-90 had some truly incredible exploratory jamming during that 2nd Set. One of the few shows in the modern era that features a more jammed out post-Drumz/Space (Space-DarkStar-Playin) then the segment before Drumz (Victim-Touch, PLayin-DarkSTar), which by the way doesn't [CENSORED] at all Exclamation

Brilliant. Thanks jed.

Anyone willing to sift through this tour over the next couple of weeks and Do A Jed?

I think it starts to get listenable around Paris. I can't remember the last time I tried to listen to this tour. Rolling Eyes

I think I should do that...
And, I think what Duck said, that it gets better around Paris, is true. I remember liking the Paris show.
