Way back in the 80's when I first started a modest tape collection, I copied a mixed cassette labeled 'Healy's Choice'. It was mislabeled "7/14-16/84", but I recently dug it out and reconstructed it with digital files. It doesn't matter, but I wonder if this was a mixed tape that was in wide circulation, and if anyone else heard it, or if it was just a fluke. For me today, it's a weird set of choices and Jerry is too low in the mix; but as a new deadhead, this soundboard tape was better than most I had, and it helped steer me in the right direction. It consisted of the following...

Dark Star 7/13/84
Dancin' In The Street -> 7/15/84
Bird Song 7/15/84
Cumberland Blues 7/15/84
I Just Want To Make Love To You -> 7/22/84
Man Smart (Woman Smarter) 7/22/84
Space -> 7/22/84
Morning Dew -> 7/22/84
(Filler from Worcester)
Lazy Lightning 10/8/84
Supplication 10/8/84
Deal 10/8/84 (fades out)

Welcome aboard! Thanks for posting!

Looks like the lost 1984 mix that the GD machine refuses to ever make an official release, or anything from 84 for that matter.

Hey particoromulus, nice avatar. I had a Jerry Garcia Band long-sleeve shirt with that exact print on it that I wore the hell out of for years. Got it after a Hampton JGB show in Fall 1991. Always liked that particular image.

And the 84 mix? That's a pretty cool find - some good stuff in there..
