Although I am prone to highly rating things that I have just listened to, which may be the case here, I currently would go with the VLB from 5/2/70. The fanning section is almost one minute long, incredibly intense, with some interesting chord sequences towards the beginning and it seems like it is going to end a couple of times when it keeps going instead. The quieter section following it also is good.

Calling Gopher aka Crackstraw....hellooooooooo??

I'm sure he would agree that 12/3/79 Music Never Stopped is up there.

And I will do the Dew sir - 09/18/87. The very end before the final lyric. This is my #1.

I can never seem to remember when he does it... other than every other song in 78.

The Dew often features some fanning at the end, in the 80s.

I seem to remember some at the end of SOTM from 8/21/93, but I could be mistaken.
