You know, I love this period, I love 84 in particular... but this run has never done it for me.
The 13th just sets me up for disappointement...
The Scarlet>Touch is intense as hell, but they totally dropped the ball on the FOTM that followed, ruining that show for me... I mean, if the meat is spoil... the dinner sucks.

So, I can't really remember much of the other two, but I remember liking the 15th somewhat... and not really liking the 14th...

So, for the 3 discs... Scarlet>Touch is a recommendation from me... skip the FOTM.

If I had been there, the 13th definitely - the reaction to Dark Star as the encore on a Friday the 13th full moon must have been awesome.
However, in retrospect, I think the 15th is the best overall show.
I would pick the Cassidy, Loser and Darkstar from the 13th, H/S/F from 2nd night (I am not that well versed in this show).
15th - Dancin>Birdsong, Cumberland, Bucket, WDWDIITR>CCS>IKYR, China Doll>Throwaway and the encores.

The Bird Song on the 15th is a really fantastic version. Go with the aud, though. Jer gets lost in the mix on the sbd.

haven't listened to the 14th or most of the 13th in a long while. Wasn't the Dark Star in response to something a NASA astronaut said in the news about playing the GD in space, or something?

Good call nick - Jerry is low on that SBD - I may have to listen to that AUD in the near future. Mostly agree with kochman's assessment of this run. Edge to the 13th due to Dark Star encore.
