GENUINE SUPPER CLUB SOUNDBORADS

Ok I am biased here but even if those are not the "perfect" set lists tis Supper Club shows are pure, pure gold to me. I read that they were ment for releasing but Sony pressed for a classic MTV Unplugged release .... what a shame!

tizi, this is much appreciated. I listened to a bit of the Ljubljana show last night, and I'd love to hear more recent live Dylan of this caliber. I'm not a big enough Dylan fan to go seeking a lot of his live stuff, so getting Tizi's Picks is a nice little guide Smile

Do you have the Warfield 11/16/80 show with Jerry playing on a few songs? The boot is called Wear the Fox Hat:

I am gonna get that show and post it!

If interessed you can register to the Expecting Rain site there you have tha A - Z shows from 1961 - 2010 in both Rapidshare and Mediafire.

You can stick here I will add the shows I love ... but that depends on my taste, you know that Dylan changes often arrangements!

Glad to hear that you like the idea of Tizi' Picks!

Thanks, tizi. That's the right one! Jer doesn't sound too bad up there... definitely sounds like he's winging it, but it's still Jerry. Nice little solo in Simple Twist, of course Smile

I'm so glad that you like that show ... I didn't have the chance to listen to it yet Embarassed

I love the NET because is less "organized" and much more improvised. The other aspect are the arrangements which change a lot depending on the phases and bands ... but you do know that.

I am glad that youare interessed so I will go on with my picks and I will add only what I think is the "cream" in both show and sound quality.

The Times
It Takes A Lot To Laugh

Gates Of Eden
Like A Rolling Stone
Rank Strangers To Me (A. Brumley)
Everybody's Movin' (Glen Trout)

Personal:

This is one of the first NET shows which just started in spring 1988. Here we have forhalf of the shows NEIL YOUNG playin electric guitar (unfortunately not singing) and he is being "presented" by Bob just before Like a rolling stone.
This was also my very first Bob boot so I am emotionally bound to it. It is a audience recouding, so I will post also a SDB of another june 1988 show which features a very hard rocking band without keyboards .... just guitar, drums and bass ... Cool

BOB DYLAN
06/14/1999
Eurgene, Oregon

Probably a Matrix (too good to be AUD)

Tracks:

Disc one

Cocaine Blues (a)
My Back Pages (a)[Bh / Lf]
Boots Of Spanish Leather (a)
Hard Rain (a)
Love Minus Zero(a) (small gap- technical problem)
Don't Think Twice, It's All Right (a)[Bh]
Down Along The Cove (first live performance)
Blind Willie McTell
Most Likely You Go Your Way
Simple Twist Of Fate

Disc two

Can't Wait
Highway 61 Revisited
encore:
Not Dark Yet
Like A Rolling Stone
Blowin' In The Wind (a)
Not Fade Away
Bonus:
Baby let me follow you down
Hazel
I don't believe you
Forever young
Baby let me follow you down (reprise)
I shall be released

Personal:

Well 1999 has a special place in the hearts of Dylan fans it is the reneissanse of acoustic Dylan which can be compared with the 1975 period (August West my not agree) but its like 1977 for the GD base. Here is another golden show in performance, audio quality (I think it is a matrix but no info about it), and setlist.
