What were everyone's favorite tunes to skip out on during concerts? Any especially long, boring tunes to facilitate a visit to the john or to grab a beer? No set is complete without a built in break, I'd have to recharge during BTW, LLR, just a few Brent tunes, hell I'd probably get a meal and a haircut during a sailor>saint.

BTW, LLR,

I would grab a beer during these songs as long as there is a short line...gotta love the last 1.5-2.5 minutes of BTW and LLR!

Peggy-O
Desolation Row
Masterpiece
Little Red Rooster
C.C. Rider
All Brent songs besides Blow Away
Death Don't Have No Mercy

Rooster, CC, Walkin, Desolation Row, Queen Jane, A slow, long Jerry tune like FOTD or Row Jimmy (best parts are towards the end anyway), Victim, several Brent songs.

Yeah, I would add FOTD (slow version) as well. Also as blasphemous as this might sound...Sugaree. B'tween The Dead and JGB bpth performing this song, I really got sick of it.

1 more sat night
Lazy Lightning
Satsfaction (why do they keep on covering it! I love the wild early Stones versions but the rest is ... like Mozart played by a North Korean brass trio)

Have you ever heard any early 80's versions of Satisfaction by THE GRATEFUL DEAD ?? (I assume you are referring to the fun but Geriatric Furthur versions)
3/10/81, 12/9/81, 4/12/82, 8/8/82, 10/31/84 and 7/1/85 are great versions. I'm sure I missed some.

Yes you are right I have only heard the 2009 Dead and Furthur versions .....

I still have to download the 80s, now I have the 87 - 91 and the '68, '69 + '72 and now I'm downloading the '73 (this year is really special).

I'll check some ASAP, and let you know my impressions!
