I'm there...listened to Boston 9-16 (Dark Star) last night and fell in love with 1972 again. Wouldn't miss it.

How are your fingers man? We felt your pain.

Went to ER and no breaks...Thanks for askin......Lucky I smashed only the tips(right blow the fingernails at the 1st knuckle) I still cant believe how much it hurt. Did not get feeling back for about an hour. OK now though, and I think I will only lose one fingernail.....They prescribed me a few Percs last night so all is well.

Most of you dont know what Im talking bout...Last night I was trying to remove a storm window and the spring in the frame was shot, and BANG...The top window slammed straight down on two of my fingers in an instant and held them between the top and bottom window frames(which are hardwood) Shocked ....Kinda funny I was googling "how do I know if my fingers are broke" and then ended up stopping in the chatbox to say hello.

That sounds like a great lp show, and glad your digits are gonna be ok.
Storm windows are a bitch, I remember being 7 or 8 years old and pulling the wood stick out accidently that held ours up in the den,.....PAIN!,
and too young for perc's Wink

Yes and excellent advice it was...Kinda funny, after the good Dr reccomended ice, I had a hard time figurin out just how to ice the ends of me digits...Ended up driving into the ER with my fingers submerged in a plastic cup of ice water...I think the dude who triaged me thought my fingers were cut off or some shit. I was seen pretty quick though...I got to go "fast track"

I'm listening to late 72 right now (Dick's Picks 23) and it's sounding real smooth. Cool I should be there.

i just got dick's picks 23, it has been in complete rotation. i was going to do a thread comparing it, and dick's picks 30 which is from the academy of music shows just before they left for europe and almost like an entirely different band.

Highlights went on to the early hours of the morning. Frost here last night, come on Mother Nature!
That show was a great pick Skobud. X Factor all over the second set, first set not too bad for the youthful days of 72.
I had to go, about 1:30 am here but I checked the chat for the other highlights. The highlights were kickass as usual, great stuff everybody.
If you want to know who picked what let me know, correct me if I am wrong on anything..

Most definitely good times. Lost track of time it was so enjoyable. looked up and it was like almost 4 a.m. The Mama Tried was a tongue in cheek happy mamas day for sugar mag, couldn't think of anything else off the top of my noggin'. I hope her little one doesn't turn 21 in prison, I'll feel partly responsible. Crying or Very sad
