Yes they are every critics band that they love to hate. Yes some of their lyrics are godawfully cheesy. but you know what? rush kicks ass! and i cant wait to see them at summerfest this year! their playing moving pictures in its entirety as well as some new stuff! so who else hear likes the "unholy trinity" haha.

Hehe, that's a funny series of emoticons... be careful Duck or people might be afraid to post Laughing

I like Rush... never seen them live though, nor really sat down to just listen to Rush.
Cheesy is sometimes good, see the 1980s music for examples!

I used to make fun of them (we referred to the thin, peach fuzz mustaches metal heads used to grow as "Rush Mustaches") but I will admit, I like some of their songs. Yes some of the lyrics are cheesy and bombastic, but they are catchy and rock! Also, gotta give to them for doing their own thing and still playing.
Oh Canada!

I like listening to Rush when the mood strikes. They had some pretty good albums, and they certainly had some motivation and talent.
There are tons of Rush audio bootlegs out there.

Don't worry, Duck is just in troll mode. He will calm down again and all will be well in the universe...
Until I or someone else starts to troll again... Laughing

Jesse I suggest you check out Coheed and Cambria if you like Rush. The new album is epic. Every album they have released is a chapter from the same story. The new one is a prequel disc, so it is technically the first chapter in the story of Coheed and Cambria. (The main characters are the band's name) The lead singer and song writer has written himself in this epic sci-fi story. I just picked up the limited edition box set for the new album which came with the album (with 2 demo bonus tracks), a dvd, and a hardcover novel which coincides with the story of the album. Oh and I don't know if you are into comics but they have a couple series out there, and are pretty hard to find.

15 years huh? I can remember that day pretty clearly, then again I was like 12 and my dad was pretty big into the Dead.
