In this thread, I want to link all the meltdowns on the pub... so, if you can recall any, post it, and I will add it to this master thread. I think this is funny and rehabilitative all at the same time... Of course, if any of you dares recommend a kochman meltdown, just kidding... I am fair game too.
Later, we can rate the meltdowns...

I'd rather start a thread on our favorite pattie melt / tuna melt experiences. Seems more positive to me....but then what do I know? I love food.
My favorite Pattie Melt:
Denny's - Hand crafted beef pattie with American cheese (Swiss substitute is allowed), carmelized onions, rye bread, and just the right amount of grease to toast it. Perfect on the road when you need a stop!

Added the Santana meltdown, kind of funny if you step back and look at it.
I will be adding some of the other ones, as I work through my Friday...

I see no humor in people having meltdowns. I think most people regret meltdowns, and they serve only to embarrass when looked at in hindsight.

Really? When you look back, it doesn't make you laugh?
It makes me laugh when I see how riled up I got over some totally stupid pointless argument.
I find this thread very cathartic...

A rather funny topic. I can see the humor at how people get pissed and vent....on the INTERNET. It is only the internet, in a smaller scale a community, yet still the internet and that makes it funny. Then again I love watching people get pissed in real life as well (as long as that fury is not aimed at me).

I will leave you with some words of Brent.

"You think you a stud boy. Well I doubt, I doubt that you will ever be. Well either way I will [CENSORED] with your hen house, just being neighborly."

I guess one of my first theads titled "Internet Elitism" could be considered a meltdown...just re-read the entire thread, it ends up covering all sorts of stuff! mp3 v flac, origins of the word "dank" among deadheads, why koch was sacrificed at bce, in evans words (where did he go) and other things...turned out to be an interesting thread Laughing

I don't want to provoke a fresh meltdown, or be accused of being a grammar Nazi, but c'mon, Koch, fix the goddamn title: "to fast" should be "too fast."

ohhhh ohhhhhh Mista Carter oooh oooooh I got one!!!

There was that one where I got into it with greenfox about him holding out on some recordings which ended up with him willing to stand in the middle of cleveland square and yell " I take it in the ass" ( i'm paraphrasing here ) if I could produce any evidence that I had recorded a show!

Dammit Zephyr, you [CENSORED] ... why do you always have to correct my typos... what's with that... It's like you have a typo watch.

Just kidding.
You are right... will fix.

All the time. Thanks for your concern, but, in your case, I think you should be more concerned with your own behavior than what others are doing.

I put up boring 81 show of the week as soon as I wrote the article, which is written in the article itself that I would do...

The invention has been added.

here's a lucasmcain meltdown that changed my life. I'll never look at the parking lot scene the same again. in fact, I've had a negative reaction to the scene ever since.

Yeah. I get a kick outa going back to this thread from time to time. We are a diverse bunch. I haven't had a meltdown here as of yet. I remember at BCE I compared opinions to assholes...meaning of course everybody has one. Well one guy over there really took it personal and thought I was calling evryone over there an asshole, completely misunderstanding what I was saying. It really shook him up. I left shortly thereafter. I think at times in order to feel a part of forums like these, one needs to develop a bit of a thick skin.

This previous May/June, when I was slave to dodgy stims and russian valium, I had a pretty harsh melt down at 'that other site', in a thred filled with great advice, I basically told everyone to fuck-off.

I'm thinking of copying and pasting my posts in here

Man it's been a long time since I've visited this place but my golly everything in this thread is worthy of being published. There are some EPIC posts and contributions by a bunch of different people here. Some of them, I'm afraid are no longer with us. Lots of time and effort went into all these rants and raves. I somewhat embarrassed and impressed with some of my contributions. This wasn't that long ago, yet I can't believe I was capable of such vitriol and prose.

Don't ever let this piece of the internet go away Koch. There is gold in these posts!!

I totally agree.
It's good to be able to look at one's own posts, in particular, and laugh/learn/hope to not repeat.

I'm destined to always be somewhat abrassive. I do do my best to evolve, but I just am a passionate person and it takes over me. It's a weakness.
