1: Help> Slipknot> Franklin's> Wang Dang Doodle, High Time, All Over Now, Tom Thumb Blues, Tennessee Jed, Picasso Moon
2: Victim> Crazy Fingers> L. L. Rain> He's Gone> Drumz> Miracle> Days Between> Johnny B. Goode E: Liberty
Well, looking at the setlist, I know what kept me away from this show until now.... the Fingers>LLR in the 2nd set...
However, listening to this show now, I have to say, wow! I haven't gotten to the suspected painful portion, and I am hoping for a nice Gone Jam to resurrect it from that... and a Miracle>Days>JBG to close the show is just about perfect in my mind.
The H>S>F is great... in particular the Slipknot! is out of control, as it should be, with similar effectivenss that we would get the next evening during the Terrapin Station. Hot Slipnot! Though, the Franklinís is only so so to me.
Pretty good Wang Dang, though that song isn't my cup of tea. In the Tom Thumbs you really get some nice Garcia work, and this continues in the climax of TN Jed. Garcia is on all night. This leads into an awesome Picasso Moon, featuring massive shredding.
The greatness carries on into the 2nd set, with some awesome work by Jerry in the opening Victim! More shredding, that then slows down the chaos jam as they head into Crazy Fingers, where I am just now getting too...
More to follow.
