Which version of Midnight Moonlight do you prefer? Old & In The Way or JGB? Also are there other songs that Garcia spanned in different bands (not including Grateful Dead crossovers {FOTD, Mission In The Rain, Rueben and Cherise etc.})?

Old and In the Way but really I hate choosing favorites. I only said Old and in the Way because that was what popped into my head and I haven't heard JGB in a while. If I went and listened to JGB, I would probably say I love it best.[/list]

The dreamy 10+ minute versions from '76-'78. Awesome Keith showcases.

As a bluegrass fanatic I am a little hesitant about the two newgrassy Cheeser Rowan showpieces, this and Land of the Navajo, in a BG context, but did just hear this by JGB today and dug it.
